AGENT POLICY FOR RANAPAY DIGITAL & UTILITY SERVICES

1. Introduction

This Agent Policy (“Policy”) defines the operational, regulatory, and ethical standards under which RanaPay India Private Limited (“RanaPay”) authorizes its Agents and Distributors to provide digital utility payments, bill payments, recharges, government services, PAN services, GST assistance, and other approved digital services through the RanaPay platform.

2. Purpose of the Policy

The purpose of this Policy is to define the roles and responsibilities of RanaPay Agents, ensure secure and transparent service delivery, maintain compliance with RBI, NPCI, BBPS, and government norms, promote consumer protection, and establish a unified operational standard.

4. Agent Registration & Onboarding

All agents must register with RanaPay, submit KYC documents, undergo training, agree to RanaPay terms, and display the RanaPay Authorized Agent Certificate.

5. Transaction & Service Delivery Process

Agents must use only the RanaPay App or Portal, verify customer details, provide receipts, and avoid any unauthorized systems or methods.

6. Agent Commission & Settlement Process

Commissions are predefined and visible in the system. Settlements occur within T+1 to T+3 working days. No additional or unofficial fees may be charged.

7. Compliance Requirements

Agents must adhere to RBI Payment Aggregator Guidelines, NPCI BBPS rules, IT Act 2000, DPDP Act 2023, and all applicable regulations.

8. Technical Security & Data Protection

RanaPay uses AES-256 encryption, secure TLS communication, and fraud monitoring. Agents must keep credentials confidential and protect customer data.

RanaPay may conduct audits, transaction monitoring, and verification checks.

11. Disciplinary Actions

Violations may lead to warnings, suspension, termination, or legal action.

12. Legal Framework

Governed under RBI Act, Payment Aggregator Guidelines, NPCI BBPS Framework, IT Act 2000, DPDP Act 2023, and Contract Act 1872.
Jurisdiction: Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.

13. Effective Date & Validity

Effective from 02 January 2024 until amended by the RanaPay Board.

14. Declaration

This Policy is approved by the Board of Directors and is mandatory for all Agents and Distributors.
